Our Mission
Our mission is to care for and find homes for homeless "companion" birds and to provide life-long enrichment based sanctuary when appropriate. In addition, Far From Home Inc. supports conservation of our planet's wild birds and the stop of the bird pet trade.
Hours and Location
Our organization is based in the southeastern Wisconsin area. We are currently a foster based organization with foster homes around the state. We do not have a central location for interested adopters to visit at this time. Please reach out to us if you are interested in meeting with one of our animals.
We are currently run exclusively on volunteer hours at this time. Please allow 1-7 business days to receive follow up on any applications, emails or phone calls. Thank you for your understanding!
